Due to Covid, we do not currently offer face-to-face clinics. When you call Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services, you will have an intake interview with someone who is not a lawyer. Limited representation. TCVLS has eviction and shelter clinics, as well as domestic violence clinics. Next, we`ll find out if your income is less than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines and if you`re eligible for free legal advice. As a non-profit organization, Thurston County Volunteer Legal Service relies on volunteers to provide direct services to our clients. We appreciate your time and skills. The Executive Director of TCVLS is the principal officer of the organization, which provides strategic and financial management of a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to serve low-income individuals and families who cannot afford legal services. After that, a volunteer lawyer will be assigned to your case. An evening appointment will be arranged so that the designated lawyer can ask you questions about your legal problem and give you legal advice.
Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services provides legal advice and information to low-income individuals in a manner that meets individuals and their legal needs. Through the efforts of trained volunteers, TCVLS strives to enable clients to resolve their legal issues. TCVLS plays a leading role in promoting access to justice in the local community.
